When Buying A Home, The Time Of Day Really Matters

13905866_SYou’ve found the home of your dreams. Before you make an offer, take a bit of time to explore the neighborhood and make sure it’s right for you and your family. A good way to do that is to drop by at different times of the day. Here are some good times to stop by:

Early morning. A normally quiet neighborhood can get a whole lot busier during the time that most people drive to work or take their children to school. Drop by in the early morning on a weekday to make sure your street doesn’t become clogged with an endless line of minivans filled with children headed to school or a speed zone for people trying to get to work on time.

Late afternoon/early evening. Swing by and see what goes on around the time people are getting home from work and eating dinner.

Later in the evening. If you drop by later in the evening, you can check to see if things start to quiet down at around 10 p.m., when many people are getting ready for bed.
